Day 1 – Singapore Arrival
Meet and greet at Changi International Airport. Transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, proceed for a half day city tour of Singapore. Discover the history, culture and lifestyle of multi-racial Singapore. Stroll along the Singapore River, the colourful street of Little India; visit the oldest Hindu temple in Singapore, the magnificent Sri Mariamman Temple and join in the bustling activity of Chinatown. Visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the ‘green lung’ of the city centre, and the National Orchid Garden. Before returning to hotel we stop at a jewellery factory to engage in one of Singaporeans favourite pastime – shopping, or simply admire the fine designs.
Day 2 – Singapore / Mount Faber / Imbiah Hill
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for a half day tour of Sentosa Island. We then transfer to Mount Faber for a cable car ride to Sentosa Island and a panoramic view of the world’s busiest harbour. We then move on to experience the Luge for your ride downhill (perfectly safe with fun filled excitement!) and take the sky ride back up to Imbiah Hill. Then proceed to the Underwater World, one of the largest oceanarium that has a 38m long acrylic tunnel for a spectacular view of marine life. Later take a stroll to the idyllic Siloso Beach, developed for beach and sea sports. Return to mainland Singapore by coach via the Causeway Link. Rest of the day at leisure. (B)

Day 1 – Kuala Lumpur arrival
Meet and greet at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon we proceed for a half day city tour of Kuala Lumpur. Drive through the lake gardens; with stops at the National Mosque and Independence Square. From there we take a short walk to Central Market passing the convergence of the Gombak and Klang River – at Masjid Jamek, one of the first buildings that were erected in Kuala Lumpur. We then stroll through Chinatown and board the bus. Proceed to Kampung Baru, a typical Malay area where most houses are still built in traditional Malay architecture. Our journey continues toward KLCC for a great photo shoot of one of the world’s tallest twin towers.
Day 2 – Malacca
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for a full day tour of Malacca. Malacca is located 145km south of Kuala Lumpur. The journey takes approximately 1.5hrs. Upon arrival in town we see the ruins of the A Famosa fortress and the Dutch Square. Walk across the bridge over the Malacca River to stroll along the streets of old Malacca. Most of the old buildings have been renovated in respect of the original design and converted into curio shops. Visit the Baba Nyonya house museum and proceed for lunch. After lunch we visit the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia (1645) and the Kampung Kling Mosque, the oldest mosque of Malacca. Proceed for a last stop to Bukit China (Chinese hill), the largest Chinese cemetery outside China before departing to Kuala Lumpur. Most of the visit is a walk about tour. (B/L)
Day 3 – Kuala Lumpur departure
Breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure before transfer to airport for your departure flight. (B)
Day 4 – Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for flight to Kota Bharu. Pick up at the airport and depart for a comprehensive tour of Kota Bharu and the surrounding areas. Visit the famous Central Market, which is also the centrepiece of the city. The goods and produce are displayed in a colourful and orderly manner. Try your hand at bargaining and experience a traditional Malay lifestyle which hinges around the marketplace. Proceed to visit the Siamese temple which features an impressive reclining Buddha. Later check in to your hotel. (B)

Day 5 – Kota Bharu to Lake Kenyir
After breakfast we depart from Kota Bharu. Along the way we visit traditional Malay fishing villages which are renowned for their colourful architecture and boat building. We will have a chance to experience an ancient traditional way of living. The drive also features dramatic scenery along the coast of the South China Sea. Lunch in a traditional restaurant. Arrival in Lake Kenyir in the early afternoon and check in to your hotel. At 1500hrs, depart for a cruise on the lake. Lake Kenyir is located in the interior of the State of Terengganu. Visitors will be awed by the lake’s sweeping landscape of scenic and natural grandeur. Its tranquillity and peaceful serenity makes Lake Kenyir the perfect getaway from the breakneck pace of city life. Aside from its own natural beauty, Lake Kenyir is also an important habitat for plants and wildlife. Fishes such as Kelah, Toman, and Baung roam freely in its unpolluted waters, and exotic wild species of orchids and other types of flora should forever arouse interest and invite discovery by the visitor. This morning we depart from Lake Kenyir and continue the visit of Kuala Terengganu nearby. After lunch depart for a cruise on the Marang River along the mangrove swamp river. Witness the traditional lifestyle of Terengganu villagers which includea a stop at one of the riverside villages to visit several cottage industries. After that transfer to Tanjong Jara and check in to resort. (B/L)

Day 1 – London Departure

Day 4 – Kuala Lumpur to Cameron Highlands
Early morning pick up at the hotel lobby where we depart for the Cameron Highlands. Drive through a scenic mountain jungle winding road. Upon arrival in Cameron Highlands we check in at the hotel. In the afternoon visit the tea plantation and a small Orang Asli dwelling. Cameron Highlands is known for the high population of natives still living in the forests. This tour will take you to some of these settlements where some inhabitants who seek job opportunities in the towns or farms still prefer to live in harmony with their natural environment. (B)

Day 5 – Cameron Highlands to Belum
After breakfast pick up at the hotel lobby and depart for Bukit Merah. Visit the royal town of Kuala Kangsar, residence of the Sultan of Perak, and see the Ubudiah Mosque and the Royal Palace. We then continue to Bukit Merah, the only Orang-utan Research Facility in Peninsular Malaysia. Lunch at Bukit Merah. After lunch enjoy a short boat ride that will take you to the Orang-utan Island where Orang-utans roam free. This unique island serves as a breeding sanctuary as well as conservation, research and education centre to better understand this endangered species. Proceed to Belum with arrival in the late afternoon, when we check in to the hotel. (B/L)

Day 6 – Belum
After breakfast we meet at Belum Rainforest Resort lobby and depart for a full day excursion to explore the Belum Forest on foot and by boat. The first stop will be at Sg. Kejar to visit the ‘Orang Asli Settlement’ to experience their traditional lifestyle. A transfer by boat will then take you to Sira Basah for a short trek to the Wildlife hide tower to discover the Belum flora and fauna. After a packed lunch offered by the Resort we then transfer by boat, leading you to Sg. Ruok to see the famous Rafflesia (subject to availability) and to relax or swim in the waterfall. Later transfer back to the resort for overnight. (B/L)
Day 7 – Belum to Penang
After breakfast we depart for Penang. On the way we stop at *Bujang Valley to visit the only archaeological site of Peninsula Malaysia, with its many stupas and temples of the Hindu and Buddhist era, spanning from the 3rd to 13th century. Visit the *archaeological museum. Proceed for the island of Penang and the Kek Lok Si Temple where a big statue dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy dominates the scene. Check in to your hotel at the end of excursions. (B)

Day 8 – Penang
Breakfast at hotel. We start today with a half day tour of Penang Island. Stop at the Thai Temple of the Reclining Buddha, the Burmese Temple and the Esplanade to see Fort Cornwallis, the old fort built by Sir Francis Light, the founder of this British Settlement, and to admire the colonial architecture of the surrounding buildings. Proceed to see the Khoo Kongsi, a beautiful Chinese Clan House. Rest of final free to explore or relax. (B)

Day 4 – Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for flight to Kota Kinabalu. Meet and greet at Kota Kinabalu Airport and transfer to hotel. In the late afternoon, depart from Kota Kinabalu on an overland 2 hours drive via coastal highway Kota Kinabalu / Beaufort, towards the Southwest part of Sabah. Upon arrival afternoon tea with snacks awaits. Depart for a cruise through the tranquillity and serenity of mangroves, nipah palms, scrubs and secondary vegetation. Enjoy the serene setting and nature’s river trail, while the Proboscis Monkeys take a good and staring look at you, quite unalarmed by your presence. You may just be able to catch that ultimate in close up photos of such animals found only in Borneo. Other wildlife like Macaque Monkeys, the rare silver Langur, birds and reptiles, flying foxes and water buffalos would greet you occasionally, leaving you with a glimpse of nature in its undisturbed form. The cruise will take a pleasant 1½ hours approximately. While returning (weather permitting), watch the sunset as the daylight fades into dusk and thrill yourself to the spectacular experience of hundreds of fireflies lighting up the trees. Upon return to jetty, traditional Malaysian dinner is served before returning to Kota Kinabalu. (B/D)

Day 5 – Kota Kinabalu
Following an early breakfast we have a pick up from the hotel and transfer to Poring Hot Spring in 3 hours drive. On the way to Kundasang, pass by small towns and villages until stop by at Nabalu Fruit Market for a break. Poring Hot Spring, a natural wonder where hot sulphur spring bubbles out of the earth and a canopy walkway (41m) span for 157m from tree to tree, a rare opportunity to get a bird’s eye view of the rainforest. A must visit is the Treetop Canopy Walkway. Proceed for lunch at a nearby resort. After lunch, depart to Kinabalu National Park and enjoy the cool and fresh air of the park. Have a visit to the Exhibition Hall, Slide Show and Mountain Garden (One of the biggest attractions at the Park). Then, return to resort for dinner and overnight. (B/L/D)
Day 6 – Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan
Early morning wake up, breakfast and drive to Sandakan across the ridges of Crocker Range, passing native villages and oil palm estate among others. On arrival at Sandakan town, check-in to your accommodation. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B)

Day 7 – Sandankan / Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre
Moring pick up from hotel in Sandakan to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre (approximately 30 minutes). Proceed to the free roaming area feeding platform and then witness the 10:00 feeding of Orang Utans. At this centre, observe man’s closest relative “the Orang Utan” being rehabilitated to become wild in their natural habitat and experience a walk in the Tropical Lowland Dipterocarp Forest of Borneo. At 11:00 depart Sepilok and transfer to the jetty in Sandakan followed by an hour boat cruise up to the Lower Kinabatangan River Sanctuary where you will take your lunch at Abai Jungle Restaurant. This is a wonderful journey of discovery which starts from the waters of Sulu Sea of Sandakan Town through a magnificent scenery of the Mangrove Forest. After lunch, free and relax at our nature board walk before cruising for searching other wildlife. After dinner, a night cruise leads you to witness the fire flies. (B/L/D)
Day 8 – Sandakan to Sukau
Wake up by the calls of nature. Early morning take a river trip to Pitas Oxbow Lake to observe wildlife and experience the uniqueness of the lake. After breakfast is the option to join our tree planting project with the locals and lunch with them at Abai Village. This project is specially designed to help the locals. After lunch, cruise upriver to Sukau village in search of primates, especially the Endemic Proboscis Monkeys, birds and other wildlife. Arrive Sukau and check in at the river lodge. In the late afternoon, take another river cruise to Menanggul River, a small tributary of the Kinabatangan. Dinner and overnight at river lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 9 – Sukau to Kuala Lumpur
After breakfast we depart overland to Gomantong Birdnest Caves. Upon arrival we have a 15 minutes walk on the plank walk to the cave. Explore the largest bird’s nest cave in Sabah, home to millions of bats and swiflets. The nests of the swiflets are collected for the famous Chinese edible bird nest soup. Then we continue journey by land to Sandakan, drive up hill to the Puh Jih Syh Chinese Buddhist Temple, which offers a panoramic view of the Sandakan Bay before lunch at the English Tea House. After lunch, proceed to the airport for departure flight to Kuala Lumpur for overnight. (B/L)
