What to Take on Your China Tour


When you head for your China tour, it is basically better for you to travel light. This is because whenever you travel, things become easier for you if you make your packing as simple and compact as possible. Take along some formal wear

If you go to China during summer, take along numerous T-shirts, cool pants, sunglasses, suntan oil and a summer hat. Don’t forget to take along some formal clothes for formal occasions you may have to attend during the China tour like a show, cruise or banquet. Besides all this, you of course have to take money in the form of cash, bank cards available in China and traveler’s checks.

To record your memories of your China tour, take along a camera with sufficient films, batteries and memory cards. You may also need an electric adapter, plug converter and transformer.

Backpackers need not pack heavily for the China tour

And if you are going backpacking, you will have to carry daily supplies and articles for your trip, including scissors, scotch tape, toilet roll, face cloth, knife, cups and bottles. Don’t pack your backpack till it is chock full as you can find most of your essentials in China to make your trip easy and comfortable.

Don’t forget to take along your first-aid kit during your China tour, for emergency use. Take along some antidepressants, your regular medicine if any, antibiotics, antihistamine, acetaminophen, aspirin, balms, anti-allergic medication, antacid for indigestion and medicine for dysentery and diarrhea.

If you have diabetes or any other health condition, it is better to take along your medical record in your China tour. This proves to be helpful if you have to visit a doctor during your China tour.
