The Forbidden City is in the middle of the capital city of China and was the imperial palace in ancient years. At present, it houses the Palace Museum. According to a research, The Forbidden City contains the most number of ancient wooden structures. In the year 1987, UNESCO declared the site as a World Heritage Site. Hence it is a very important place of visit when you go for a China holiday.

3. Cruise on Yangtze River

4. Potala Palace

6. The Changbai Mountains

The Changbai Mountains contains a series of forest reserves and hosts a wide range of rare wildlife species. Many tourists come to this natural reserve to look at these rare species and have a thrilled China holiday. One of the most notable species found here is the rare Siberian Tiger, which is found in clusters in these dense forests. There are also quite a few rare bird species in these forests.
