China Holidays in Hong Kong

If you are looking for a vacation destination this year that is full of cultural details, while still having a modern touch, then China holidays is the answer.  China has recently become one of the most popular tourist destinations.  Hong Kong has continually grown economically over the past few years, and is now a metropolitan city.  With China holidays in Hong Kong, you can experience shopping, fine dining, and other luxuries that you would not find in other locations of China.

Situated on what is called Hong Kong Island, the area is promising with exciting night life, such as bars, night clubs, casinos, and theatres.  If there is an attraction that is not yet in Hong Kong, then it will be shortly.  If you enjoy shopping, the northern part of the island, which is also the newest, has the essence of a cosmopolitan city, mixed with marketplace vendors and famous name brand stores.
A Hong Kong vacation is one that you will never forget.  The dining is so unique and different that many countries are not able to duplicate.  The “Seafood Street”” in the Northern region of Hong Kong is full of delightful seafood delicacies.  The food is not limited to the basic seafood and other Chinese dishes.  There is a mixture of cuisine that has been seen all over the world.  Fast food chains are also popular, where you can buy a cheeseburger if you are homesick.  However, more than likely, you will not be ready to go home.

If you are interested more in sightseeing, then take a trip up to Victoria Peak, which is also the capital of Hong Kong.  The peak has a wonderful view of the Victoria Harbor, as well as a ‘Believe It Or Not Museum’.  The museum is an interesting experience that contains bizarre artifacts and machinery.  However, if you are a more traditional person, then the Bank of China Tower will be a wonderful photo opportunity.  The tower stands at 369 meters, and is considered to be one of the tallest buildings in the world.  It is made of blue glass, and designed so that it reflects he growth patterns of a bamboo plant.  The tower was developed to survive through typhoon winds and other natural disasters that are common in China.

The ferry that will take you from the central Pier to the Cheung Chau island is a wonderful way to relax the day away.  During the weekdays, the area is commonly used for fishing by the locals.  During the weekend, it is bursting with tourists.  If you have children with you, they might be slightly bored with the ferry.  Instead, take them to Hong Kong Disneyland.  It was opened in 2005 and is the smallest of the other Disney locations.  Even though it is smaller, it has all of the normal Disney features, and it is expanding.  You can use Disneyland as a great incentive for you children, due to all of the walking around the city.  Hong Kong truly has something for the whole family.  Even if you are single, the experience will last a lifetime.
