Boat people on Tonle Sap Lake
Day 1 - Phnom Penh arrival
Upon arrival at Phnom Penh Airport you will be greeted by our guide and transferred to 4* hotel in city centre. Rest of day at rest with evening meal in hotel. (D)
Day 2 - Phnom Penh
Today we have a city tour which includes a visit to the National Museum and the affluent Silver Pagoda in the afternoon. Also enjoy an unforgettable sunset cruise on Chaktomouk Rivers (four face rivers) which includes a brief visit to a small floating village and fishing boat port. This evening we have dinner at Khmer Surin restaurant. (L/D)
Day 3 - Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
This morning we take a short domestic flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival we visit the famous Bayon complex, Elephant Terrace, Leper King Terrace and Baphoun Temples. In the afternoon we continue to the world famous Angkor Wat, and then before sunset we climb Phnom Bakheng Hill to the temple of Phnom Bakheng for magnificent sunset views over the temples of Angkor. Day 4 - Siem Reap
Today begins with a visit to the marvellous Chaosay Tevoda, Thommanun, Takeo, Ta Prohm temples, terrace of Sras Srang and Prasat Kravan. In the afternoon we visit many of the other interesting temples such as Pre Rup, Leak Neang, Mebong, Tasom and Neak Poan. This evening relax with a traditional Khmer foot massage before enjoying dinner with a cultural show at Kulen II restaurant. (B/L/D)
Day 5 - Siem Reap
This morning begins with a visit to the Rolous group, including Preah Ko, Bakong and Lolei temples. After lunch we visit Siem Reap River, Wat Athovea and enjoy a boat ride on the side of Tonle Sap Lake, giving us the opportunity to see the fishing and floating village. We then experience daily life of Khmer people with an oxen-cart ride through Aranh Village. (B/L/D)
Day 6 - Siem Reap departure
Free day at leisure to explore the city or outlying villages. Late evening transfer to airport for flight home. (B)
