Get out your camera, walking shoes, film, and take a few snacks as you stroll to Mount Emei on your China tours. The China tours will take you beyond beauty in to an extravagant Mountain near Chengdu. Expect to walk, trek, hike, bike, or ride a bus 168 Kilometers to the Mountain and don’t forget to stop and see Sichuan Prince, the Capital of Chengdu. This glorious mountain is a sacred haven for China’s Buddhist group and is one of the most prominent mountains of four in the country. Chinese call Emei Mountain the “Beauty under Heaven.” Once you see the mountain you will see how it got its name. The Chinese ancestors added the mountain to UNESCO, which is a part of China’s World Heritage.
During your China tours visit Chengdu Giant Panda Research Base where you will see some amazing panda bears. Stopover to see the amazing 3000-year old cultural remnants of prehistoric Shun Kingdom also, this exhibit is at the Sanxindui Museum. Here you will learn about China civilization of the Upstream and Yangtze River.
Leshan is a picture-perfect Buddha region. If you want to see the Great Buddha stop here where you will have clear views and you can enjoy boat rides to the centre of Mingjiang River. This amazing statue of Buddha is 71ms tall. It has curves that from into a cliff-like face that overlooks convergences of Min and Dadu Rivers.
Speaking of Buddha, don’t forget to see the Baoguosi the Nation Dedicated Temple that was built during the sixteenth century. The temple was expanded during the seventh century. Emperor Kangxi undertook the Temple during this time. Recently it was renovated though. Fuhu Temple is another temple that you may enjoy viewing. The Chinese call this temple the “Crouching Tiger Monastery.” When you get a chance to see it you will know why, especially when you see the sunken temple in the forest. Along your tour, visit Mt. Emei and enjoy as many scenes as you can include scenes of Heart Watching Hill, which is 5kms long. Chinese call this the Calming House. Your China tours should include a visit to Elephant Bathing Pool and Zuantian Slope, Huayan Summit, Chu Hall, Jiuling Mountain and Zhanglao Terrace. Serenity starts at these areas and especially in the night hours you will find complete serenity at Elephant Bathing Pool. Golden Peak is not far off. Use the cable cars to lighten the load as you enjoy trips to Golden Peak from Leidongping. The cable cars allow you freedom to relax and meditate on your China tours.
