Get out your camera, walking shoes, film, and take a few snacks as you stroll to Mount Emei on your China tours. Leshan is a picture-perfect Buddha region. If you want to see the Great Buddha stop here where you will have clear views and you can enjoy boat rides to the centre of Mingjiang River. This amazing statue of Buddha is 71ms tall. It has curves that from into a cliff-like face that overlooks convergences of Min and Dadu Rivers.

Speaking of Buddha, don’t forget to see the Baoguosi the Nation Dedicated Temple that was built during the sixteenth century. The temple was expanded during the seventh century. Emperor Kangxi undertook the Temple during this time. Recently it was renovated though. Fuhu Temple is another temple that you may enjoy viewing. The Chinese call this temple the “Crouching Tiger Monastery.” When you get a chance to see it you will know why, especially when you see the sunken temple in the forest. Along your tour, visit Mt. Emei and enjoy as many scenes as you can include scenes of Heart Watching Hill, which is 5kms long. Chinese call this the Calming House. Your China tours should include a visit to Elephant Bathing Pool and Zuantian Slope, Huayan Summit, Chu Hall, Jiuling Mountain and Zhanglao Terrace. Serenity starts at these areas and especially in the night hours you will find complete serenity at Elephant Bathing Pool. Golden Peak is not far off.
