We are a family owned business who provide quality holidays to China. Our priority is customer satisfaction, and to achieve this we aim to give you a personalised service. You can be assured that when booking with us there will be no hidden costs. We do not cut-corners to save money, and all hotels and restaurants are of a high standard and quality. To us you are an individual, not just a number.
Our family are Chinese and English, and have lived in China for over 30 years. We have worked in the travel business in China, creating and personally running tours, for over 15 years. Our in-depth knowledge and understanding of people travelling to China is second to none. Many organisations who advertise holidays to China and claim to have knowledge, have not lived and travelled across China as we have, and this is where our detailed knowledge and advice stands-out from the rest!

Financial Protection Guaranteed
We hold a fully bonded ATOL licence. ATOL stands for Air Travel Organiser's Licence, and is the only Government licensing and financial protection scheme for air holidays and flights sold by tour operators. We are constantly monitored by the Civil Aviation Authority, who provide the ATOL licence, to ensure protection to customers from losing money or being stranded abroad if we go bust. This means you are covered at every stage of your journey, and you are even covered if you have paid for your journey and not yet departed.
This protection ensures you have full financial protection, no matter if paying by cheque or credit card, from the moment you book a tour with us until your return, giving you peace-of-mind throughout.
Our Hotels
The hotels we use through Emperor Tours holidays are all high
quality and located in city centres (SPECIAL NOTE: Some tour
operators offer 4* accommodation, which although advertised as being
in city centre, can be quite far from tourist attractions, shopping
and restaurants). We have carefully chosen our selection of hotels for
location, cleanliness, attentive service and comfortable surroundings. All accommodation has private en-suite facilities and most clients are surprised by the very high standard of facilities and service offered by most hotels in China. Emperor Tours has no direct control over the daily management of the hotels, and in the event that we have to change hotels, every effort will be made to substitute hotels to the same standard. We must stress that the facilities of some hotels in more remote regions are basic. Emperor Tours has made every effort to ensure it is of the highest standard within that region, but be prepared to accept lower standards in return for experiencing the spectacular scenery in the area. YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE'S

5* CENTURY STAR CRUISE
All the cabins are designed with French window and private balcony for viewing the Three Gorges scenery. All cabins have private bathroom with shower, hair dryer, A/C, TV and ship phone, mini refrigerator.
5* CENTURY DIAMOND CRUISE
Entering service in July 2008, this is the newest deluxe cruise with six decks decorated in modern style. All the cabins are designed with French window and private balcony for viewing the Three Gorges scenery.
5* EMPEROR CRUISE
All cabins come with private balcony, A/C, radio, satellite phone, colour TV, mini refrigerator, port internet, mini bar, safe box, shower and hair dryer. Other facilities include beauty salon, sauna, gym, bar/card room, sun deck, reading room and constant temperature bath pool.
The hotels mentioned are used by Emperor Tours Limited for both group and tailor-made tours. Emperor Tours Limited reserve the right to change hotels, but all hotels used will be of a similar standard as those quoted and in city centres. Room upgrades only are available in hotels used for group tours.
Our Restaurants
China is a vast country with a wide diversity of ethnic groups and eating habits. In general, however, the Chinese recognise the relationship of diet to good health, and believe that the ideal diet is one that stresses both diversity and balance.
The restaurants we use through Emperor Tours provide traditional Chinese food, prepared and served to a very high quality standard. Meals offered will have a good variety of meat, vegetables and fish to suit you, whatever your preference may be.
Airlines
Wherever possible we use direct flights to China with British Airways and Virgin Atlantic (SPECIAL NOTE: Some tour operators only offer indirect flights - at Emperor Tours we feel this can add many additional hours to your journey, which could be better spent on holiday in China!). All seats are booked on Economy Class, but this can be upgraded upon request.
We can also arrange departure and return from your regional airport, but due to the fact that no airlines fly direct from regional airports, it will mean changing in Amsterdam, Paris or Frankfurt. In this case we use either KLM, Lufthansa or Air France.
Internal transfers are with all major Chinese carriers. Most airlines no longer use the Russian Ilyushin and Tupolev aircraft, and are now equipped with modern Airbus and Boeing jets. Most journeys are no longer than an average of 2 hours.
